- Sourced locally. We source our tallow from high quality, 100% grass fed and grass finished farms in the Shoalhaven, NSW.
- Slow rendered. We gently render the fat in small batches to keep its natural goodness intact — no shortcuts, no rushing.
- Purified with filtered water. We purify it using filtered water (never tap — no chlorine or nasties) and Himalayan salt, repeating the process as many times as needed to pass our test.
- Filtered & inspected. We filter the tallow multiple times and carefully inspect every step to make sure each batch meets our standard.
- Hand packaged & labelled. Finally, every jar is hand packaged and hand labelled by us — small batch, with care, from our home to yours.
What is tallow?
Tallow is rendered beef fat.

- What is tallow exactly?
- Rendered beef fat from grass-fed cattle. People have used it on their skin for a very long time — way before serums and actives were a thing.
- Why is tallow better than regular moisturisers?
- Most moisturisers are made from synthetic oils, water, and preservatives that sit on top of your skin. Tallow's fatty acid profile is almost identical to human skin lipids, so it absorbs deeply and actually nourishes your skin instead of just coating it.
- Where does your tallow come from?
- Our tallow is sourced from a grass-fed cattle farm near Jervis Bay.
- How do you make it?
- We slowly render and purify the raw suet multiple times until it passes our visual and smell inspection before it goes into a jar.
- Does it smell like meat?
- No. It has a very mild natural smell that some people associate with milk.
- Can I use it on eczema?
- A lot of people do. Tallow's fatty acid profile is really close to human skin, so it tends to work well on dry, irritated patches.
- How long does a jar last?
- Roughly 2–3 months with daily use. You don't need much each time.
